Winter Art Exhibit
We are thrilled to share that the 2018 comes with many good news and good vibes from our passion: Make our home, your home! So, stay tuned to our social media channels!
As every year, we're happy to start the 2018 with our Winter Art Exhibit, curated by our Calixto Robles, gathering the artwork of many talented artists of our community.
Calixto is a San Francisco- based painter, printmaker and ceramic sculptor originally from Oaxaca, Mexico. He has lived in California since 1983. His work is inspired by the ancestral myths and symbols of the indigenous traditions of Mexico.
His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally including the Museo Nacional de la Estampa in Mexico City; the Centro Cultural de México in Paris, France; Biblioteca Nacional de la Habana in Havana, Cuba; and the Legion of Honor and Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, California. He has been a member of the California Society of Printmakers since 1993, and has taught silk-screen printmaking at the Mission Cultural Center since 1992.
Stop by Puerto Alegre and enjoy the new art exhibit!
